Dear Station Members,

Attached is an article on Tree Protection in Construction Site written in Mandarin, to benefit our Taiwan & China brothers & sisters in the landscaping business.  Never has CAA seen another similar article of this kind published in Mandarin anywhere in the Chinese speaking world.  Our knowledge is now unique.

Both Taiwan & China are now enjoying a development spree.  Cities are building forward at a speed never before, & many times at the sacrifice of the mature existing trees already there.  This is sad to the Arborists.

In the eye of the developers, trees are pests to obstruct progress & are therefore nuisances.  Then some landscapers would propose transplantation in their own way, with topped tree parts & miniaturized root balls.  Some even published articles openly to broadcast their work, & try to use their experience as a standard.

Our article has translated international research & practices to respond to the myths & malpractices in tree protection in common construction sites.  It specifically focuses on development sites in the China Region, by quoting examples & providing solutions.  This article has been split into many parts to appear on our Facebook, & never one adverse comment has been received from anybody anywhere.  This is showing the quality of our work in the eyes of the China public.

More of such articles will be translated in due course by CAA.  CAA is here to serve the China public with our knowledge & experience.  This is how & why we are growing all the time.

best regards,

Sammy Au
